Managed Programs
Our Managed Futures and Managed FOREX Programs can help individual and institutional investors capitalize on identified investment opportunities in the global exchange traded futures and over-the-counter foreign exchange (FOREX) markets. By utilizing our Managed Programs, investors can gain access to various third party managers and asset classes that previously were only available to institutional and high net-worth clients.
Our Managed Programs are designed to produce consistent low volatility returns and achieve a substantial degree of overall risk reduction in your investment portfolio. Adding our Managed Programs to your portfolio of stocks, bonds or hedge funds could reduce your portfolio’s standard deviation since there is a relatively low correlation between the performance of futures prices and foreign exchange rates versus stock prices or interest rates.
Process
Our Commodity Trading Advisors (CTAs) will manage a portolio of third party portfolio managers that are not affiliated with vCap Investments such as outside investment advisors, hedge funds, fund of funds, CTAs, CPOs which vCap Investments has carefully selected to match your investment criteria. In either case, our CTAs will provide you with the flexibility and expertise that is instrumental in tailoring your sophisticated investment objectives which includes sharing due diligence and performance evaluation reports performed on each of the selected third party portfolio managers as well as our personal experience with such managers.
Once the portfolio manager selection is determined, vCap Investments, along with its brokerage affiliates, vCap Futures and vCap FX, will assist investors in the account opening process. vCap Investments will act as the liaison between the investor, third party portfolio manager and clearing firm to insure all of the proper account opening documents and disclosures are executed. vCap Investments will all ensure that the third party portfolio managers have all of the proper tools needed to execute their trading strategies, including providing accesss to various liquidity providers and exchanges, providing any technology support and providing any proximity hosting solutions that are required by the third party portfolio manager for low latency executions.
